RABUN JAUH atau MIOPIA, adalah apabila mata tidak dapat menumpu dengan baik yang menyebabkan objek jauh kelihatan kabur.

Ia adalah satu masalah normal bagi mata di mana cahaya terkolimat menghasilkan titik tumpuan imej di hadapan retina.

Penglihatan warna merupakan kebolehan suatu organisma atau mesin untuk membezakan objek berdasarkan panjang gelombang (atau frekuensi) cahaya yang dipancarkan atau dipantulkan. 

Sistem saraf kemudian mengesan warna dengan membandingkan gerak balas terhadap cahaya beberapa jenis penerima foto kon di dalam mata. 

Sel-sel kon ini peka terhadap bahagian yang berlainan dalam spektrum nampak. Julat spektrum nampak dan bilangan kon berbeza mengikut spesies. 

Bagi manusia, julat spektrum ini adalah di antara sekitar 380 hingga 780 nm (dari ultraunggu hingga ke inframerah), dan biasanya memiliki tiga jenis kon.

Kecacatan penglihatan warna selalunya berkait rapat dengan masalah pada sel-sel penerima retina. Kebanyakan penghidap masalah penglihatan warna tidak sedar masalah ini kerana beranggapan orang lain juga melihat warna sama sepertinya.
